Okay, here's the deal.
This is like those old Sierra Adventure Games--King's Quest and so on--where the player types in an instruction for the character to follow.
Except that in this case, I'm the computer.
Go ahead and make suggestions in the post comments. Move around, look at things, pick things up. If you'd like to talk to someone, type out what you'd like the character to say. I'll draw up the result of the action, and put it in a new post. Minor details and asides may be replied to in the comments.
If there are multiple suggestions and the character can do them all sequentially, I will attend to each one-by-one. If there are multiple suggestions and those suggestions conflict, I will use the handy poll widget in the top right corner there to quickly get a majority opinion. 5 votes or more, and we have a decision.
If suggestions are totally out there and crazy/unworkable, or outright harmful to the mission ("I poop on his head", "I kill everyone in the town!" etc.), then I won't play that suggestion. Being funny and a little silly is totally encouraged. Being so "out there" as to disrupt the game is not.
Combat may or may not feature in this game. We'll see how it goes! If it does look likely to happen, I'll write up a system for it. It'll almost certainly involve a dice roll or some kind, which is why that little dice roller widget is there.
Any questions? Feel free to ask!
